I got the chance to see one of my favorite musicians perform on Saturday and there really aren’t any words to describe how it felt. I guess as I was growing up, I was convinced that I’d never see any bands that I love because they’re all either old or, sadly, dead. I mean, Roger Waters is definitely not the only member in Pink Floyd but I felt so lucky to at least be seeing one of them. He put on such an amazing show. He sounds so clear and fresh, like his voice has not aged one bit. The Wall has always been one of my favorite albums so to finally see it come to life (besides the film, ya know actually In the Flesh hehe) was so beautiful. I teared up like a loser at certain moments throughout the show. Everyone at the concert was just enjoying it, soaking it in, and uh, getting super high. I didn’t even smoke but fuckin’ contact high, man. It was THAT much smoke around us. The Trial is scary in that condition. Anywho, I will never forget this night. The night one of my musical dreams came true.
In other news, as much as I write this on here, I am in love with my guy. I really couldn’t be happier with him. I’m grateful to have found him. I’ve been so stressed with school, probably why I’m not on here as often anymore, but he just calms me down. He’s a wonderful person. I’m very lucky. It trips me out that it’s almost been a whole year that we’ve been us. I love him and I don’t care if you get tired of reading this on my blog. Ha, like anyone reads this. But yes, a guy I can draw Dali mustaches with, laugh and talk to, be romantic with. I’m truly blessed.
